We often get asked, "Why do Rube's steaks taste so good? The answer is right here in the middle of Iowa's rich farming tradition. We select the finest black Angus beef that is sourced from family farms within approximately 150 miles of our grill shop, which is now located inside Rube's Steakhouse in Montour. Rube's corn-fed premium beef is wet-aged for 28 days and cut to our specifications. This wet aging process naturally tenderizes the meat and deepens the flavor, resulting in the signature Rube's taste and texture everyone loves. We are proud to support local farming families, and to offer the best-tasting steaks in the nation.
Our Grill Shop features the same great steaks that we serve in our restaurants. In addition, everything that is on our website can be found in our retail shop. We also carry other meats, grill gear, souvenirs, seasonings and delicious specialty items to enhance your cooking experience and to foster your love of steak. Our little shop is a fun specialty food shopping destination for travelers, steak lovers and foodies from all across the nation.
